Customised employer branding

Attractive presentation of a company and its vacancies plays a central role in today’s job market. STROOMER developed a microsite for the parcel service provider GLS Germany that reaches the various groups of applicants with the appropriate combination of images, texts and videos.

Aim

More attention, more interest, more applicants: encouraging potential employees to get excited about the various areas of parcel logistics – with authentic multimedia insights into the work of the company. The solution aims to make the integration of an application management system possible and to fit seamlessly into the company’s communication mix.

Approach

The starting point was the analysis: which target groups should be reached? Where can they be found? How do they use which online offerings? In conversation with the customer, it soon became clear that a subpage on the company website could not – as initially assumed – meet the requirements. With a team of consultants, online concept developers, video producers as well as external partners, and in close cooperation with the customer, an alternative solution was developed.

Result

GLS careers – a modern microsite with a streamlined back end, its own self-explanatory URL, and a clear, responsive, yet flexible, design.

Vacancies, career areas, opportunities for development and benefits are presented in a clear and comprehensible way. The highlights are the video portraits of real employees filmed by STROOMER. Accompanying internal and external PR measures to coincide with the launch ensured lots of visitors right from the start. The number of applicants for vacancies has seen a significant and lasting increase.
